Responsibilities
- Hardware engineer with extensive experience on board design, analysis and testing
- Well versed in design and analysis of high-speed ADC and DAC's circuitry
- Author specifications/requirements and necessary documentation to support designs of PCA’s for design and technical reviews
- Work closely with multifunctional team including external vendors to develop robust architecture and functionality
- Ensure compliance with all relevant EMC and electrical safety standards such as IEC-60601
- Perform component and subsystem level testing to ensure conformance to design, safety, and compliance
- Work closely with mechanical and development engineers to ensure successful system testing
- Conducts risk analysis and root cause analysis on product designs and issues
- Anticipate and resolve obstacles to deliver on agreed-upon milestones
- Experienced in mixed signal schematic and layout designs
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, And Experience:
- BSEE with 8+ years or MSEE with 6+ years in medical devices or related field
- Demonstrated ability to debug and test using high speed oscilloscopes and other tools
- Experience with electromechanical systems
- Proficiency with Altium Designer strong plus
- Familiarity with FDA, QSR, and ISO 13485 medical device regulations and standards
- Familiarity with C, Python programming and microcontroller peripherals such as SPI, I2C, and other various protocols
